Inside Line Promotions – ROCKY MOUNT, Mo. (Feb. 17, 2014) – Josh Baughman is more than ready to make his debut with Jason Johnson Racing this week.

First up, Baughman will tackle the 38th annual Winter Nationals at East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, Fla., Thursday through Saturday. It will mark his first time ever at the third-mile track.

“I’ve watched a lot of YouTube videos on it and Jason feels it will fit my driving style,” Baughman said. “It has a wall all around it, which I’m real comfortable with it. Based on the videos I’ve watched, the place gets pretty slick so I feel pretty good going into it.”

Baughman will practice on Wednesday before the action kicks off with two nights of complete racing leading up to Saturday’s finale.

“Definitely our goal every time we pull into the gate is to win,” he said. “I’m not traveling my guys 23 hours down there to run second. To work as a team and have some success and learn some things is what we’re going for. Jason is going to spend the week with me and coach me up a bit while he has time before he kicks off his season next week.”
