Inside Line Promotions – ODESSA, Texas (Sept. 2, 2014) – Josh Baughman is heading to a pair of Nebraska tracks this weekend for an ASCS Midwest Region doubleheader.

Baughman will start his weekend on Saturday by making his debut at Junction Motor Speedway in McCool Junction.

“I heard it’s a pretty good sized track,” he said. “We’ve been rolling pretty decent at the bigger tracks. I feel comfortable on the bigger tracks.”

The weekend will conclude on Sunday at Eagle Raceway in Eagle for the $5,000-to-win Nebraska Cup. It will mark Baughman’s second career race at the high-banked track following a frustrating debut earlier this season.

“We went there once and didn’t have a very good night,” he said. “Our record shows we’re always better the second time at a track.”

There is one thing in particular that Baughman knows going into the event at Eagle Raceway.

“There’s always a rut there in turn one,” he said. “You have to be on the gas. I feel like we can get up on the wheel and do some good there.”
