Inside Line Promotions – TULSA, Okla. (May 30, 2016) – Josh Baughman is venturing east this week with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour, which is putting on three races in four days throughout Indiana and Michigan.

The action begins on Wednesday at Plymouth Speedway in Plymouth, Ind., where Baughman will put another driver in his ride so he can attend his daughter’s kindergarten graduation.

“Family comes first so I’ll have to miss that race,” he said. “I know Wayne (Priddy) and the team will do well and I look forward to joining back up with them for the weekend.”

Baughman will make his debut at both Hartford Speedway in Hartford, Mich., on Friday and at Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Ind., on Saturday.

“Going to a new place the locals will have the advantage,” he said. “I don’t think any of the ASCS guys have laps there so it will be fresh for all of us. With us traveling the last couple of years almost everywhere we go is new to us. We’ve got used to a new atmosphere and adapting quickly.”

Baughman enters this week ranked 10th in the ASCS National Tour championship standings. He has one win and three top 10s with the series this season.

“We always look to get a win, but a top five both nights is our goal and I don’t see any reason why we can’t accomplish that,” he said.
