Inside Line Promotions – TULSA, Okla. (July 5, 2016) – Josh Baughman is making a trip home this weekend.

Baughman will return to Western Ohio and Eastern Pennsylvania for a pair of sprint car races in an area where he has family and spent summers as a child.

“I used to go out there in the summer to spend time with my grandparents,” he said. “We don’t get to race up there very often so it’ll be a great time for everyone.”

Baughman is slated to make his debut at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pa., on Friday before tackling Saturday’s Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions Lou Blaney Memorial at Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio.

“I’ve watched races at Lernerville as a kid so it’ll be fun to return there and race,” he said. “And competing with the All Stars on Saturday will be a tough challenge. We always look forward to facing the best competition and there’s no argument that Saturday will have some of the top drivers in the nation at Sharon Speedway.”

Baughman won the C Main and advanced to a 13th-place finish in the B Main during an Ohio Speedweek event at Sharon Speedway last month. He also placed ninth in the B Main during a 2015 Ohio Speedweek show at the track.

“The key will be getting ourselves qualified in a good position,” he said. “The last couple of times we’ve been there we’ve missed the heat race inversion so that will be critical this weekend.”

Also of note, Baughman recently acquired a new merchandise trailer that he will have with him throughout the remainder of the season. All new apparel will debut with the trailer at Lernerville Speedway.
