Inside Line Promotions – TULSA, Okla. (Sept. 14, 2016) – Josh Baughman is heading to a pair of Midwest tracks this weekend during what could be his final 410ci action of the season.

Baughman will make his debut at Clay County Fair Speedway in Spencer, Iowa, for the Arnold Motor Supply Shootout on Friday before heading to U.S. 36 Raceway in Osborn, Mo., for the FVP Missouri High-Banked Nationals on Saturday. Both races are co-sanctioned with the National Sprint League and World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series.

“We’re going to stay in the seat,” he said. “We’re going to try to stay fresh so when we come out for the Hockett/McMillin Memorial the next week we don’t lose any laps. I think our success this year has come from staying in the seat and getting laps.”

Baughman has a top-10 finish during National Sprint League action this season, but he’s seeking his first top 10 with the World of Outlaws.

“The goal is to have a solid finish,” he said. “To make the shows and run top 10s with those guys would be a win for us.”

Baughman, who has one 410 victory this season, has a season-best result of 13th place during World of Outlaws competition.
