Inside Line Promotions – TULSA, Okla. (May 31, 2017) – Josh Baughman is tackling the 39th annual AGCO Jackson Nationals this weekend.

Baughman will compete in the 410ci winged sprint car division Thursday through Saturday at Jackson Motorplex in Jackson, Minn., where the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series will compete each night culminated by a $25,000-to-win main event.

“Not only will the Outlaws be there, but since there’s a lot of money on the line I’m sure a ton of the top drivers in the Midwest will show up,” he said. “It will be a testing ground of sorts. If we can do well this weekend it will be big for our team.”

Baughman placed 13th during his lone 410 start at Jackson Motorplex this season.

“We could have had a top five and would have had a top 10 if it wasn’t for a racing incident that cost me a bunch of positions in that main event, but on the bright side we took another step forward after our debut there,” he said. “We know more of what to expect and things we can do to the car entering this weekend’s races.”

Baughman made his debut at the half-mile oval last September during the AGCO Jackson Nationals. He placed 11th during preliminary action before electing not to start the finale.

Baughman ended 18th during the 360ci preliminary night before he earned a fourth-place finish in the finale.
