Inside Line Promotions – ROSSBURG, Ohio (July 19, 2017) – Josh Baughman has shifted his focus solely to the Knoxville Nationals.

Baughman is Knoxville Raceway bound to compete at the famed half-mile oval in Knoxville, Iowa, each of the next four weekends.

“Knoxville is a track that takes laps to run well,” he said. “I was happy with our progress there during our season debut a couple of weeks ago so hopefully we can build on that. We want to take advantage of the next couple of weeks at the track to set ourselves up for the 360 Knoxville Nationals and 410 Knoxville Nationals in August.”

Baughman charged from 12th to fifth place in the 360ci winged sprint car A Main and from 19th to 14th in the 410ci winged sprint car main event during his lone visit to the track this season on July 8.

Following this Saturday’s race at Knoxville Raceway, Baughman will venture to Double X Speedway in California, Mo., on Sunday for an ASCS Warrior Region event. He was victorious during his only trip to the track this season.

Baughman competed last weekend at Eldora Speedway during the famed Kings Royal with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series.

“We’re definitely putting last weekend behind us,” he said. “We didn’t qualify well any night and when you don’t qualify well with the World of Outlaws it’s an uphill battle. It was a frustrating performance all weekend so we’re looking forward to focusing on Knoxville and Double X this weekend.”
